Auction of College Rugby Jerseys – Eras of Sponsorship
Maritzburg College has enjoyed the support of some top sponsors over the years, who have enabled many deserving boys to attend the school. Their support of College rugby in particular is very much appreciated.
MR PRICE was a major sponsor for many schools for many years and they changed the face of schoolboy rugby with their branding. TEKWANI took over from MR PRICE in 2013 and became a major influencer at Maritzburg College. The THIRSTI brand was subsequently created by Tekwani, and sponsorship branding changed in 2016, and still remains today.
These three iconic jerseys have been grouped together and framed to give the highest bidder an opportunity to own a one-off piece of College history. These jerseys have all been worn by College 1st team rugby players and have been professionally framed for the discerning collector.
