Rob Evan was educated at the University of Natal (Pietermaritzburg) and has B.Com, Higher Diploma in Accounting. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1993 and is a current member of South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Rob is also qualified as a Certified Financial Planner and a member of Financial Planning Institute of South Africa. Following completing his Articles with Ernst & Young, Rob continued in the accounting profession with Ernst & Young for a further four years reaching position of senior manager. He joined Surelink Consultants cc t/a Surelink Wealth in 1998 as an independent financial adviser and ultimately co-owner where he has worked since. Ron served as Member/Chairman Finance Committee of Maritzburg College 2016/2017, Chairman Maritzburg School Governing Body 2018/2019 and has been a Member of Maritzburg College Board from 2020 to date.
