Robin has a Bachelor of Social Science (1993) and an LLB (1995) and is an attorney, notary and conveyancer, practicing as a partner of Cox Yeats Attorneys. He specialises in property law, with particular expertise in commercial and residential property developments, commercial and residential finance transactions and leasehold transactions.

From 2016 – 2020, Robin served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Maritzburg College Old Boys’ Association and a member of the Maritzburg College Governing Body, being chairman of the Legal and Discipline Committee and regularly chairing the Disciplinary Tribunals. He has also served as a director of the Maritzburg College Foundation from 2016 to 2020 and from 2024 to date.

When not working his interests include wine and mountain biking.
