On 5th and 6th September, a small team of staff together with some of our acting prefects led College’s first ever Giving Day. Guided by Charidy.com who facilitated the donation platform, the school raised over R1.3m in 27 hours. The dream total was R4m, relying on an equal matching from some of College’s legacy donors, so this amount reflects over 65% of the R2m target.
The atmosphere in the boardroom where all the hard work was happening, was truly amazing! Thank you to Granny Macs for providing delicious eats on the Forder Oval for our volunteers.
Funds raised will go to Academics, Boarding, Aquatics and Hockey projects identified as well as to the school’s Endowment fund.
