The Alan Paton Memorial Scholarship Fund
This fund is named after one of Maritzburg College’s most famous sons who embodied the values of Self-Discipline, Commitment, Integrity, Courage, Honour and Respect that we still hold so dear today.
The Alan Paton Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to support talented boys whose circumstances prevent them from accessing quality education.
One hundred scholarships
The Maritzburg College Foundation, in collaboration with Maritzburg College, is embarking on an ambitious campaign to fund 100 bursaries for deserving young College boys.
The fund will enable the school to offer places to prospective College boys who have displayed a suitable level of academic prowess, a unique character and a willingness to immerse themselves in the “College Experience” but whose families are in need of financial assistance.
