There is nothing quite like trying on that College basher and blazer for the very first time!

That undeniable sense of pride and privilege in being accepted into a band of brothers: a select group of young men who get to pick up the flag and carry the school forward. That feeling that anything and everything is possible.

It is a feeling that only a College boy will understand.

During 2016 we launched our very first #BigBasher campaign to help bring this feeling to ALL of our boys.

Parents and boys who frequent the College Shoppe in search of blazers, bashers, uniforms, sporting kit and other essential items for boys who are starting at College, or looking for replacement items they might have outgrown, are faced with the reality just how much these necessary items actually cost these days!

We were passionate about starting this appeal because of the number of boys, new College recruits and also current College boys, who struggled to afford a new blazer and basher or who were unable to replace blazers they had outgrown during the year.

Since inception our College Foundation’s #BigBasher initiative has raised in excess of R213 000 and has helped countless boys afford that new blazer and basher and be proud of their school and of themselves!

We are always in need of support to be able to match the requests for assistance we receive and we would like to ask for your gift this Christmas season.

You can pledge to support a Full Basher, Half Basher or a custom amount of your own choosing.

The #BigBasher support is administered in association with the College Shoppe who make every effort to help our College boys leave the Shoppe feeling proud of their College uniforms.

Please take a few moments to make your commitment…
